About the Role
We are seeking dynamic Team Members to support safety, cleanliness, and engagement across the Uptown Rutland business district. Modeled after the successful “Downtown On-Call” initiative, our Ambassadors are the frontline of support—keeping our neighborhood safe, vibrant, and welcoming for everyone.

What You’ll Do

  • Patrol & Presence: Provide a visible, reassuring presence for businesses and visitors.
  • Response: Address concerns such as loitering, disorder, litter, and vandalism.
  • Cleanliness: Support beautification efforts including litter pick-up, graffiti removal, and pressure washing.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with emergency services and community partners as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily reports and incident logs.

What You Bring

  • Skills: Strong communication, conflict de-escalation, and sound judgment.
  • Attitude: Professional, approachable, and service-oriented.
  • Requirements:
    • Valid BST (Basic Security Training) License
    • Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation
    • Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
    • First Aid/CPR Certification
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Physical ability to walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

The Perks

  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5–40 hrs/week (Monday–Friday, early mornings).
  • Pay: $22.00–$25.00/hour (based on experience).
  • Extras: Uniform/footwear allowance & optional health benefits.
