2026 Kelowna Vaisakhi Parade

Celebrate Vaisakhi and Sikh Heritage Month with the community at the Kelowna Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan Parade. This free, family-friendly event welcomes everyone to experience a vibrant day of culture, connection and celebration.
Event Schedule
- Temple Celebrations: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Parade (Nagar Kirtan): Departs at 12 p.m. Returns at approximately 2:15 p.m.
Parade Route
The parade will travel in a counter-clockwise direction along:
Rutland Road N → Wallace Road → Sycamore Road → Sumac Road → returning to the temple
Note: Full road closures will be in effect from approximately 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along the parade route.
What to Expect
- Complimentary Punjabi food
- Cultural displays and vendors including the URBA tent
- Children’s activities throughout the day
- Live cultural celebration and performances
- A welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all ages
Visitor Information
- Parking is available in designated areas outside the parade route
- No vehicle access along the route during closure times
- Guests are encouraged to walk and explore the event grounds
